About Me

I am a father, husband, christian, American, patriot, combat veteran, sojourner, expat, foodie, bookworm, left handed, artistic, appreciate good beer, pretty women, fast cars, and a proper tune. I speak English, German, forgot Konai, and pretend to understand Spanish.

My earliest memories are of growing up in the remote jungles of Papua New Guinea where my parents were non denominational christian missionaries until around the time I turned 13.

That’s when we moved “home” to America. To the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, where people got around in cars, wore shoes every day, went shopping for groceries (rather than hunting for and growing their own food). I had just started to finish middle school, joined a wrestling team, and learned using movie references, and funny quotes from popular tv shows was how most people from my country I had never really lived in seemed to speak with one another.

…And still working on it.
